Shannon -
Physician Assistant
Shannon Jansma, RD, PA-C, MMSC is the physician assistant in the office who has been at Life Without Limits since 2005. Shannon's main role is following patients post-operatively to ensure they are losing weight safely while learning the lifestyle changes necessary to keep weight off for life. In addition to post op visits, Shannon will assist Dr. Gluck in surgery, teach "Back on Track" classes, as well as program development projects. Shannon practiced as a Registered DIetitian for 6 years prior to becoming a physician assistant and continues to maintain the RD certification.

Jen -
RN, Bariatric Coordinator
Jennifer Gluck, RN, BSN, CBN, is a Registered Nurse. She has been the Nurse Coordinator for Bariatric Surgery since Dr. Gluck began his Multidisciplinary Bariatric Surgery Program in October 2002. She was involved with the development of the program and continues to be involved in the ongoing planning with relation to the program as well as with direct patient care in Dr. Gluck’s office. In June 2007, Jennifer was one of a small group of registered nurses to take and pass the first Certified Bariatric Nurse exam offered in the US.

Wanda -
Office Manager
Wanda started with Dr. Gluck in 1996 as a medical assistant and also front desk with the general surgery practice. She then worked her way up from patient accounts/insurance authorizations to Office Manager. Wanda graduated from Oakridge High School in 1990 and received her Medical Assistant Certificate(from 1991). She has been working with Dr. Gluck since he came to town in 1996.
Wanda is also a patient! She had the sleeve gastrectomy in 2007 and continues to live a healthy lifestyle to maintain her 80 pound loss.

Aymie -
Medical Assistant
Aymie is the clinical medical assistant. After receiving an Associate's Degree in Applied Science through Baker College, she worked at Hackley Hospital in occupational health. In 2006 Aymie started working with Dr. Gluck and has been happily employed and a crucial member of the Life Without Limits team ever since. "It has been truly satisfying to watch our patients transform their lives, and help them with their quest of a healthier happier lifestyle. I have trained along side with some of the most dedicated providers I have ever met. When I'm not fighting obesity you will find me with my two beautiful children. My nine year old daughter and two year old son keep me and their father very busy. Music being our passion, we frequent music festivals and concerts. I also make and sell adult sized hula hoops. These "toys" are an excellent way to get some exercise while having fun. So in that way, I suppose I'm fighting obesity in my spare time as well!"

Surgery Scheduler
Patti has been committed to Dr. Gluck and his practice since it began in 1996. Patti C. schedules surgery, coordinates Dr. Gluck’s schedule and makes sure each patient is prepared for his/her surgery and associated appointments. She is a versatile “team player” who easily steps in for others in the office, from Medical Assistant to front desk to filing. You will see her everywhere!

Tristan -
Insurance Authorizations
Tristan's role at Life Without Limts is to help each patient with the insurance approval process and ensures all criteria are met for surgery. This makes for a smooth transition from consult to surgery without placing burden on the patients. Tristan has worked for Dr. Gluck since 2006. Her background includes Medical Assistant certification.

Billing
Patti has been committed to Dr. Gluck and his practice since it began in 1996. She is the "master biller" in the office. She takes pride in keeping current and informed about the latest in billing and coding updates.

Front Desk
Megan has worked for Dr. Gluck since 2009. She attended Baker College and had four years experience as a receptionist at another physician's office before coming to us.
" Something I'm looking forward to is training for and running my first 5k with our patients and Erica in May. I have always wanted to do one and thought this would be a great opportunity to share that with my co-workers and our patients."

Erica -
Registered Dietician
Erica Phelps, RD, has worked at Life Without Limits since 2007. Erica teaches all of our pre and post-op nutrition classes. She also helps coordinate special events like our 5k training program. Prior to working with Dr. Gluck, Erica spent several years in outpatient weight management counseling. She holds a Certificate in Adult Weight Management from the American Dietetic Association and is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise.

Linda has been in Medical Records since 1996. Linda does an exceptional job keeping patient files and the office organized.

Velvet -
Front Desk
Velvet is the most recent addition to our bariatric team. She comes to us with 6 years of experience working in another medical facility. You will see Velvet when you are checking in/out of your appointments and she is also helpful to patients browsing our available vitamin/protein products. |

Jeanie- Support Staff
Works on a variety of tasks in the office including scanning of our charts and documents. She also fills in for us with website maintanence and some photography as she owns her own Photography Studio, Perfect Prints Photography. |

Kellie - Physician Assistant
Kellie joined Dr. Gluck in 2008. Kellie is a PA-C who assists Dr. Gluck in surgery and with any hospital responsibilities. She is a valued asset to Dr. Gluck's OR team.
Letezia -
Social Worker
Letizia, MSW is a Masters Prepared Medical Social Worker who has been running our monthly General Support groups since 2003. She has been an intricate planning and developing our evolving post-operative support program. In 2007, Letizia began our monthly "Year and Beyond". Letizia is a valued resource to the bariatric program. A post-operative bariatric patient herself, Letezia is tremendously passionate about helping others through their weight loss journey. |

Sue- Registered Nurse
RN, Team Leader
Working closely with Dr. Gluck, Sue guides patients through their hospital stay. She has been working with the bariatric program since 2004 and in 2007 became an ASMBS Certified Bariatric Nurse.
