Vitamin Supplementation is required after bariatric surgery to ensure adequate vitamin intake. Sometimes a couple years out patients feel good, or "hate to take pills", and stop taking their vitamins. This can lead to vitamin deficiencies and overall not feeling well.
Recommended Vitamin Schedule for Life:

Adult multivitamin in morning and night

Calcium Citrate - 1000 mg divided in two doses

Sublingual (under the tongue) B12 -at least 500mcg once a day or B12 injection once a month
